Our venue recommend Sounds Abound to us as one of their recommended DJs and we are so thankful they did!! The whole process of booking a DJ through Sounds Abound was extremely easy, and honestly one of the easiest parts of our wedding! On the Sounds Abound platform, they make it super easy for you to choose the must play songs, songs you also like, and songs you don’t want – they also have a great section to choose what type of genre you want for dinner and cocktail hour (which I hadn’t even thought of!). Highly recommend Matt Ammons – he is the BEST. We honestly didn’t pick a whole lot of songs (mostly focused on must play songs), but he understood the crowd and played songs for everyone! The older folks were dancing and the younger crowd loved the music as well! We got SO many compliments and quite a few “Where’d you find this guy?? I LOVE him” comments. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ/MC for our wedding. 12/10 would recommend Matt Ammons and Sounds Abound!

Matt was our DJ/MC and he was wonderful. He met with us a month before the wedding to discuss everything in detail. He also answered any and all questions I had. The whole staff at Sounds Abound were fantastic. Got so many compliments on our wedding music. I couldn’t be happier with them!

We are very happy to have retained Sounds Abound and specifically DJ Matt Ammons for our wedding! Making specific requests of Sounds Abound via their tool was easy, especially as our first dance song changed twice, and Matt himself was absolutely fantastic night of even with our very small guest list of somewhat older folks who are more accustomed to “Shout” than “Get Low”. Matt and Sounds Abound rolled with it, were prompt and professional, and I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone getting married.

We recently worked with Matt Ammons as our wedding DJ from Sounds Abound. Matt did an absolutely fantastic job as our DJ, and we couldn’t be happier with how the night went! He kept things moving throughout the evening and worked really well with our photographer. Our guests really enjoyed the atmosphere he created for the cocktail hour and during dinner. Since our wedding was on a Sunday, a number of guests couldn’t stay for much of the dancing, but for those who could, Matt kept us energized and on our feet until the very end. Our wedding was up in Harvard IL and although Sounds Abound is located in Naperville IL, after we experienced them at afamily wedding last year, I knew I needed to book with them! Surprisingly, they had one of best value pricewise in comparison to some of the DJ’s closer to our area, which made them a no brainer. We chose Matt Ammons as our DJ, and he was a PERFECT fit. He was patient and fun and kept the vibe up all night. He knew which songs to play to keep the current group on the dance floor, and accommodated music requests as long as they fit the vibe. I even received a number of compliments on the DJ, and a few requests for information on the company – and that’s when you know you’ve found a good one. They also offer photo booth options. We chose the social booth as it was the best value for the price, and you get it all night long, which is exactly what I wanted! Overall, a fantastic experience with Sounds Abound – and specifically Matt Ammons. I highly recommend them and will continue to give out their information to anyone who asks. Book them – you won’t regret it!

Matt is the best DJ! He was so on top of executing the timeline of our wedding, we barely had to do a thing! He played all of our favorite songs, as well as not playing our favorites. Before our event, Matt met with me and made sure to get every detail. He also MC’d the night as well, making annoucements and introductions. He was very friendly and our guests loved his personality, it was like he was a normal guest at our wedding. The pricing was good and I would gladly have Matt DJ for us again!

We chose Sounds Abound company for our DJ for our wedding at the Haight. It was the best decision we could have made. Not only was everything perfect Matt set the fun wild mood of our family and friends. Matt was so personable and perfect for our special day. He had been to the Haight for multiple weddings before so he was also familiar with setup and all that. We had a great time. We also used him for my husbands sisters wedding years back. From start to finish Sounds Abound was hands down the best DJ company to work with. They walked you through all their options and how to work their client portal. They sent us links to the DJ’s so we could see some of their work in action in order to pick the best one for our wedding. Matt did a terrific job and I am so glad we picked him. Sounds Abound and more specifically Matt Ammons were fantastic to work with for our wedding! Their online planning tool is easy to use and helpful to organize all your music needs for the big day. Matt was fun, energetic, and great to work with. He knew how to keep the dance floor full by playing to the crowd we had along with mixing in our favorites. One of our main goals for our reception was that the dance floor was never empty. Matt made sure that was the case. Once your reception starts, it is hard to keep an eye on the clock to make sure you stay on schedule. Matt was great at keeping us on track so that way we had plenty of time for dancing. Sounds Abound uses an online portal which makes planning songs for your ceremony and reception so easy. We cannot recommend Sounds Abound enough!

The platform to add songs helped with organization and planning on your own time. We had an amazing experience with our DJ Matt. He made everything so easy and just so amazing! He knew what to do at all times. Didn’t have to be hunting him down at all.
