"I'm writing to let you know that Edge was a fantastic DJ, and we couldn't have been happier to have him be our DJ for our wedding. It was a little stressful getting all of the preparations ready for the wedding, but Edge was awesome with helping us figure out the time schedule for the reception, picking songs, keeping things on track at the reception, and always being available for us. It was a huge help to have Edge keep things on track at the reception and keep the flow going, which allowed us to focus on and enjoy the event. I heard from some of the other vendors that they haven't seen people dancing for that long non-stop in a long time, which is certainly a sign that the DJ was doing a great job. Before the wedding, Edge always responded immediately to my emails and phone calls, and made himself available to us right after we registered with Sounds Abound. I've heard compliments from guests at our wedding as well saying things like the DJ was great and not a distraction. The light show was great and really added a lot to the atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about Edge! We will most definitely recommend him to anyone else we know who is looking for a DJ."

"We had the pleasure of working with Edge on our wedding day. Edge, and Sounds Abound, put any DJ anxieties that we may have harbored to rest well before the wedding date. The staff at Sounds Abound was helpful and accommodating, even when we switched event date. Edge provided a quick and professional welcome when he was cast as our DJ. He continued to send rapid responses to any of our inquiries and always made sure that we knew he was in possession of our emails. Additionally, our meeting with Edge proved to us that we were working with a knowledgeable and well -versed DJ. We left our meeting excited about the party that we knew Edge would provide, and certainly not worried about his service. Our wedding proved to be the excellent time that Edge promised. He and his partner were set up and ready long before any of our guests arrived at the event. The music they provided was perfect for our guests to mingle. Shortly before the wedding party’s entrance, Edge consulted us about event timing, offering an easy to follow overview of the night. He then calmly gathered all necessary individuals into a group and clearly explained what our entrance would be like (something far different from what I’ve watched other DJs do with wedding parties). Our entrance and cake cutting went smoothly and we enjoyed ourselves! Edge and John provided music while we ate, and then turned up the party-and the lights they provided-to start the party. They played a lively mix of music, pleasing all of our guests, including a large group of native Polish speakers. There was never a moment when the dance floor wasn’t crowded and our photographer simply couldn’t seem to snap pictures quickly enough of all our guests enjoying themselves. At the end of the night, we received quite a few compliments on the DJ and remarks that people “had never had so much fun!” We know that Edge, and Sounds Abound, were instrumental in making our celebration amazing and we thank him for that."

"My new Bride and I didn’t start looking for a DJ until
exactly 60 days before our wedding date! We contacted Sounds
Abound based on a recommendation from our reception venue. We
were skeptical that we would be able to find a quality DJ in
the peak of wedding season, only 60 days prior to our wedding
day. We made our way to Sounds Abound and we were pleasantly
surprised to find a fully staffed office with listening rooms
and a wedding store inside! It was nice to see that there was
more to the company than someone working out of a garage with
no back-up plan and no safety net. It was also nice to know
that you we were dealing with a family business that had to
rely on its service and reputation to survive. My comfort level
quickly dropped when we learned that there were only 6 DJs out
of 20 left to select from for our wedding date. Being the skeptic
that I am, I’m thinking great, 6 out of 20 to choose from. The
way I think, that meant that we’re picking from the bottom 3rd,
and by that I mean that I’m thinking we’re picking a DJ from
the 6 that no one else wants! I thought that even if we got
the best of the remaining six, that there were still 14 other
DJs that were better than ours! By the end of our visit the
sales associate made us feel comfortable in understanding what
were looking for, recommending, and selecting Mr. Ed “Edge”
Szefc for our DJ. Our main objective was to have the dance floor
packed all night and Kyle assured us that we would not be disappointed!
We had several short pre-wedding phone calls with Edge, which
during these calls he took his time to understand what we were
looking for, who we were, and was very helpful in filling in
some of the blanks relating to our ceremony and our reception.
These meetings were very comfortable and after our last meeting
a couple of days prior to our wedding, we felt comfortable that
we would not have to worry about our DJ on our wedding day.
Edge was not only the DJ for our reception, he was the music
for our wedding ceremony! So, next to my bride, our guest, and
the pastor, we’re thinking that Edge is the most critical piece
to making our reception successful. Edge, thank you for a fantastic
job and thank you for helping to make our day so special. You
asked us not to over plan our music and thank god that we didn’t.
You said to trust you, we did and you didn’t let us down. We’re
not sure if it’s a testament to the quality of all the DJs at
Sounds Abound or if we were just lucky to have Edge be part
of the “last 6 DJs” the day we walked into Sounds Abound to
pick our DJ? As long as Edge is with Sounds Abound, we’ll never
know the answer to that question because we wouldn’t use anyone
else! Thanks again Edge!"

"I have nothing but positive things to say regarding Edge and your company. Getting a DJ is always a scary thing, because you never really know how it will turn out till the night of. I have been to many weddings where the music really ruins the party.
From the start of my questions/contract with Sounds Abound I have been nothing but impressed. Questions were always answered accurately, if someone didn’t know the answer they called me back within a timely manner, website was very user friendly and the discount is always nice as well. Edge and I got along from the start and he was extremely patient with me not knowing all details till the week of. Better yet the night of, he had a phenomenal light show, I think he was able to literally get half the people out on the dance floor for the cha cha slide and he knew what to say and when to say things. He realized when I was getting impatient with dinner not starting and was the first one to help out and get that going! Edge is a fantastic guy and an awesome DJ – I am so happy I picked him.
I have had so many compliments over and over regarding the music and what fun people had – even people taking pictures of the laser lights (Dancing With the Stars) as they were going off and specifically commenting on that!!!!!

"Just wanted to send a short note saying how much we enjoyed
our wedding, largely due to the outstanding services of our
DJ Edge. He was extremely professional, arrived early and checked
in with us, had a great attitude all night, and most importantly

When it came time to dance, Edge did a beautiful job mixing
in our selections with what he knew the crowd wanted to hear,

DJ, Edge. He impressed both me and my husband Michael from the
very first time he contacted us to discuss our preferences for
the big day. It was great to hear about his musical background
and about his passion for being a DJ. You can tell that he really

at our wedding would have a great time. Sure enough, Edge had
the dance floor packed tha entire night and was able to read

he made us wait a whole minute and 35 seconds to walk out but
by that time he had the entire crowd on their feet cheering
and clapping for us to come out...I have never seen anything
like it and we will remember it always! We will recommend Edge

"I don't know where to begin. We had what has to be the
most unconventional wedding. The order that we did things was
unpredictable, and we had numerous unplanned interruption, and
yet Edge never missed a beat. We -the bride and groom- disappeared
before the first dance to attend to an ailing grandmother and
we found out later that Edge used his judgment to get people
dancing and involved. He made a last minute adjustment for the
toastmaster, and he was even able to play the USMC hymn for
our nephew who just returned from Iraq. And he never batted
an eye!!!! I was frantic the last week before the wedding and
he checked in with me several times, both by email and by phone.
Edge put me at ease and repeatedly reminded me that the day
was about us and anything we wanted to do would be fine. He
played the music we requested and from that was able to dermine
other songs that he knew we would appreciate. He arrived early
and again had a very calming effect on me. At all times he was
extremely professional and well organized. He was great at judging
the guests and making changes to keep everyone's interest. He
pleased preteens, young people, and the more mature guests.
He even got out there and taught a few dances. Many of our guests
commented on his DJ skills. He emceed, he helped facilitate
picture taking, and he made the entire day go smoothly. I picked
Edge because of the comments about him on your website. In retrospect,
they don't do him justice. I would gladly speak to anyone thinking
about selecting Edge. They will not be disappointed. I would
do it all over again and I only wish we were having more functions
so that we could hire him again. Please let Edge know that Joe
and I strongly feel that he greatly contributed to the great
