My name is Kyle Overbey. Now I know I may be young, but don’t
let my looks deceive you! Not only do I have a great knowledge
for the newer songs that are out there, but people twice my
age are astounded at my knowledge of the classics. I was born
into Sounds Abound and have been around it my entire life. I
started working as a DJ assistant for the first time when I
was 13 years old. I’ve spent a lot of time working with most
of the DJs on the Sounds Abound staff, learning and creating
my own unique style.
Being around the business for as long as I can remember has
taught me many valuable things about the entertainment service
business. I realize that your party is about you! Just like
the tag line of Sounds Abound says, “If you love the Chicken
Dance, we love it. If you hate it, we hate it!” I will go out
of my way to ensure that your party is the way you want it to
be.
To me there is no greater reward than seeing the joy on peoples
faces after they have experienced a special night. Creating
that joy is my passion.
My easy-going personality, experience, musical knowledge, and
a passion for what I do makes me a great choice for any event.
