"We were extremely pleased with Sounds Abound. Every wedding requires lots of choices and picking Sounds Abound was one of our best and easiest decisions we made. Ken made everything in the sales process a breeze. He even came out and met us at our reception location to go over lighting several months before the wedding. You can tell that Sounds Abound is dedicated to making sure their customers are happy (contrary to other DJ companies we’ve seen). As far as Matt goes, when we first met him we were impressed at his overall persona. He was very diligent in meeting with us to go over our needs and selections. We felt completely at ease. "Originally, I was hesitant to use a DJ at my wedding because I love live music and I have been to so many weddings with cheesy DJs who negatively impacted the reception. I wasn't a big fan of the idea that a stranger would be "running the show" so to speak on one of the biggest days of my life. Sounds Abound and more specifically Matt Ammons changed my entire opinion about wedding DJs. I cannot tell you how many people came up to me after the wedding and asked me how I found the DJ. Matt played the perfect mix of songs for the young, old and everything in between (even some ethnic music for the grooms family.) He kept the dance floor full the entire evening and was fun but extremely professional as he guided us through all of the "reception events." Even my mom said that after 30+ years of attending weddings, she has never seen so many people dancing from the very first song until the last. Matt also made sure to get in all of our "must plays" and did not play a single song off of our "do not play list," which I know is often not the case. Matt also consistently checked in with me throughout the evening to make sure things were going the way I wanted them too. It was great to have the opportunity to work with someone who's number one priority was to make sure that I was happy.
The online planning tool Sounds Abound offers was also fantastic since we live in Boston and our wedding was in Chicago. It allowed us be hands on with the music selection, no matter where we were. On a side note, I think it is great that you have video clips of the DJs online, but do not let people "crash" weddings to check our the DJ. At first I was disappointed that I couldn't see your DJs in action, but realized how upset I would be if someone came to "check out" the DJ at my wedding. I would definitely recommend Sounds Abound and Matt to any friends or family for any kind of event."

"We were extremely happy with our DJ selection process through Sounds Abound. The video previews of each DJ were so helpful and really helped us to select the DJ that was right for us. The videos showed their presence at more than one wedding which was a really nice thing to be able to see. Our picking Matt Ammons proved to be a wonderful choice! "Matt was fantastic!! We had originally booked another Sounds Abound DJ and after him having a scheduling conflict we were notified by Sounds Abound and I was so disappointed! The fact that we were notified a month in advance though, is a true testament to the type of company Sounds Abound is. Instead of crossing their fingers and hoping the DJ would be available, they let us know in advance and told us what our other options would be. Although we were nervous switchiing DJs so close to our wedding we couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out. Matt was so much fun, we both had multiple guests tell us that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He kept the crowd involved and the dance floor was never empty! He also made it a point to keep us updated as we tried to visit with all of our guests as to what was coming up next and when so we could be prepared. Matt was fantastic and we would recommend him AND Sounds Abound to anyone!! :)"
