Hello, my name is Matt Ammons, and I appreciate you taking the time to find out more about me. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you and help make sure that your event is as fun, memorable, and hassle-free as possible.

I began working with Sounds Abound as a Music Mixer in May of 2007, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from just about every D.J. in the company. I feel that my experience along with my outgoing and friendly personality make me the perfect fit for any type of gathering, from weddings to anniversaries to corporate events.

I am very pleased and very lucky to be able to say that my professional life revolves around my two biggest passions, music and sports. By day, I work as a producer for a sports talk radio station, which is where I get to satisfy my hunger for all things sports. And of course, at night and on the weekends, I get the great satisfaction of filling rooms with all types of great music. To me, one of the best feelings in the world is looking out and seeing a packed dance floor, and feeding off of all the energy of a crowd that is having an absolute blast!

I strongly believe, though, that my job is more than just playing great music….it is to make sure that your event goes exactly the way you want it to. My main goal is to make sure that all you have to do when you arrive at your event is to sit back, relax, and enjoy the party along with all of your guests. "Matt was fantastic!! We had originally booked another Sounds Abound DJ and after him having a scheduling conflict we were notified by Sounds Abound and I was so disappointed! The fact that we were notified a month in advance though, is a true testament to the type of company Sounds Abound is. Instead of crossing their fingers and hoping the DJ would be available, they let us know in advance and told us what our other options would be. Although we were nervous switchiing DJs so close to our wedding we couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out. Matt was so much fun, we both had multiple guests tell us that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He kept the crowd involved and the dance floor was never empty! He also made it a point to keep us updated as we tried to visit with all of our guests as to what was coming up next and when so we could be prepared. Matt was fantastic and we would recommend him AND Sounds Abound to anyone!! :)"
