At Sounds Abound, making a great wedding video is about more than
just filming your ceremony and reception. It's about turning your
special day into a magical love story that you'll want to watch
over and over again.
Titles and Credits
Just like any classic Hollywood love story, you'll want to remember
all the lead roles in your movie. We'll create custom titles and
credits using your bridal party list. In our Feature Presentation
Package, titles and credits are placed at the beginning of the movie.
In all higher packages, titles and credits are placed at the end
of the movie.
Movie Trailer Intro
In the Hollywood Classic Package and higher, your wedding movie
begins with a dynamic movie-trailer-style opening to set the mood
for the love story that will follow.
Childhood & Dating Montage
Photographs are the perfect way to tell the story of your life.
Our 40-photo montage typically includes 10 photos of the bride growing
up and 10 photos of the groom growing up set to one song, then 20
photos of your pre-wedding day relationship set to a second song.
The montage includes customized titles and graphics, and the music
pieces are your choice.
Bridal Preparations (at separate location from ceremony)
A popular way to begin your wedding video is with footage of the
bride and/or groom preparing for the big day. Depending on the package
you choose, we can film either just the bride at her dressing location,
or both the bride and groom at two separate locations. We will film
preparations as long as you like, provided we can still arrive at
the ceremony location with at least 90 minutes to set up before
the ceremony begins.
Pre-Ceremony Montage (same location as ceremony)
We will create an artistically edited montage from footage filmed
up to 90 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Set to a love
song fitting of your event, this chapter would immediately precede
the actual ceremony on your final movie.
The Ceremony
This is the moment that has to be captured just right. We'll arrive
90 minutes ahead of time to set up, test the natural lighting, and
confirm the best shooting angles. We will use two cameras: one camera
controlled by your videographer, one camera remains stationary for
a wider-angle view. The two angles will be interchanged throughout
to give the best viewing of this special moment. The ceremony will
be filmed in its entirety, from the moment the processional begins
to the triumphant recessional.
Post-Ceremony Montage (same location as ceremony/reception)
This montage includes footage from the ceremony location after
the processional, as well as footage from the reception location
prior to the bridal party introductions. This often includes footage
from a photo shoot at the ceremony location, the bride and groom
leaving the ceremony, concluding with images from the cocktail hour
at the start of the reception.

If you and your bridal party plan to visit a scenic location to
take portraits before the reception begins, have us tag along! Heading
to downtown Chicago? Let us hitch a ride in your limo / trolley
/ strech-Hummer so we don't miss a moment of the fun.
Reception Room Shots
The name says it all. We arrive early at the reception location
to film the banquet room before guests arrive.
The Reception
Along with the ceremony itself, this is the heart of your final
edited movie. Starting with the bridal party introductions, through
toasts, blessings, and cutting the cake, to your first dances, and
eventually to cutting loose with all your family and friends, we're
there to capture it all! We work in constant communication with
your Sounds Abound DJ and Photographer to make sure every special
moment is captured perfectly. We will continue filming the party
as long as you want up until midnight, at which time overtime charges
will apply.
Ceremony highlights Presented During Reception
This one is sure to blow away your guests. Once we finish filming
your ceremony, we'll immediately begin editing them into a short
5-minute ceremony highlight video. We will then present this movie
during your reception. We'll provide a huge screen so all your guests
can easily watch and relive the moment together. If you choose to
have us make your Childhood & Dating Montage, we can add the
ceremony highlight video to the end and show them both as one video.
Honeymoon Montage
Take your camera with you on your honeymoon, and we'll use your
shots to add the perfect ending to your movie. Provide us with up
to 40 photos and up to two songs, and we'll do the rest. Please
note, adding a honeymoon photo montage will push back the date of
receiving your final movie to 30 days from when we receive your
honeymoon photos.
Trash The Dress
OK, you don’t actually have to destroy your wedding dress. (But
you can if you want to!) Two video journalists will join you on
a different day at a Chicago location for about four hours. We’ll
film with a steady-cam, jib, and dolly – a fancy way of saying we’re
going to make this look truly cinematic. This special video segment
is all about creating something unusual, creative, and off-the-wall.
Plus it’s a great excuse to wear your wedding dress and tuxedo one
more time.
Highlights
Accompanying the credits rolling at the end of your movie, we
artistically present various highlights and outtakes from your wedding
day, edited into a short 5-7 minute video. A fun way to quickly
relive your day’s most special moments!
Recap Movie
Sometimes, you want to watch more than just the wedding highlights,
but you don't feel like watching the whole wedding movie. We can
create a 30-minute recap edit of your wedding day on a separate
Blu-ray Disc (or DVD), perfectly sized for those with a sitcom-length
attention span. (We promise, no commercials.)
30-Day Turnaround
We've got your montage photos. You've given us song choices. We've
got hours of raw footage from your wedding day. How long should
you be expected to wait to receive your finished movie? You will
have the finished Blu-Rays (and/or DVDs) in your hands in 30 days
or less.
