We were so pleased with our Sounds Abound experience. My wife and I knew the music and MC would be a very important part of the reception, but neither of us had strong opinions about what music should be played. The online planner was convenient and easy to use. In the end, we only had about 10 songs that we told Tony we liked and about the same number in the do not play category. We didn’t have any songs in the must play category. With that little guidance, we left it up to Tony to work his magic. It’s pretty safe to say that he crushed it.
I’ve never been to a wedding where people made a mad dash to the dance floor the moment it opened. Well, I suppose now I have. He got our guests out there from the first song and he kept them there the entire night. The transitions from song to song were great and he kept everyone happy with a great balance of classic and current songs. I remember hearing most of the songs from the songs we like category. He did a great job working them into the lineup and made everything flow.
I must also add that Tony was a great communicator, both in his public presentation and with his communication with us as a couple. He spoke with us on the phone the week before, right before the reception began, and then checked in with us later on in the evening.We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice in company and MC.
